FEMWEAVE: Bridging the Divide (2025-2027, EU)

The project aims to strengthen education on the European history of 20th-century fascist regimes, focusing on the experiences of women in Italy and Spain. It involves teachers, students, and civil society, providing educational tools, multimedia materials, and a digital platform to promote active citizenship, democratic memory, and awareness against racism and denialism.

Coordinated by Agareso, ANPPIA, and Histagra (USC), funded by the European Commission.

WHY AND HOW...

The project offers teachers and educators resources to promote historical memory, active citizenship, and civic engagement among young people. Through an innovative approach, it connects the past with today’s challenges, countering racism, denialism, and human rights violations. The methodology, based on media education and social participation, is being tested in Italy and Galicia and will then be made available to schools.
